About Charles O Darkoh
Dr Charles Ohene-Darkoh is a practicing Physician with over twenty years’ experience in medicine. He also holds a Master of Laws Degree. He is very passionate about Mental Health & women’s issues, especially as it relates to Africa.
This passion has led to the publication of Victims of hope, an Afrocentric novel that explores the evolving role of the emancipated woman in a traditional culture and highlights the role mental health plays in our daily lives.
From an early age, Charles has believed in giving back and sharing and is consequently has been voluntarily involved in mental health education across Africa and investments in various charities.
He holds Faculty appointments with various Universities including McMaster University & University of Cape Coast.
He is a father, son, husband, friend and a teacher. He enjoys swimming, travelling and exploring cuisines from all over the world.
